About
Goldsmith & Davis was originally founded as J. Graham Goldsmith Architects in 1983 in Burlington, Vermont, creating a dynamic force in the New England architectural community. We have built a reputation for quality design on various building types, as evidenced by our work on single and multi-family residences, office buildings, and commercial space in Vermont and Nantucket.
Since its founding, the firm has completed more than 400 projects, due primarily to the strength of our highly qualified staff of architects and designers, along with a trusted network of interior designers, engineers, land planners, and builders. The firm has become one of the most well-respected architectural firms in the Northeast and has continued to build a steady client base and reputation in Florida and beyond.
In 2025, J. Graham Goldsmith Architects was renamed Goldsmith & Davis Architects after Adam joined Graham as a business partner.
The key to the success of Goldsmith & Davis Architects lies in the approach to design—efficient use of space, attention to environment, adherence to budget, the ability to expedite the permit process, and our sensitive, competent, and courteous service to clients.
This philosophy of design has led to successful projects in Vermont, Nantucket, and Florida—some of the most challenging municipalities for design approval and permitting. We specialize in traditional, transitional, and coastal high-end home design, as well as country club planning, multi-family and commercial development. We look to continue providing exceptional service to our highly esteemed clientele.
